Simply Mumtaz leads production of Joint Hospitality Industry Holiday Party

Joella Hopkins, CSEP, CMP from Simply Mumtaz Events, Inc. spearheaded the "Not Your Everyday Holiday Party" which was sponsored by 5 different hospitality industry organizations: International Special Events Society (ISES), Association of Bridal Consultants (ABC), National Association of Catering Executives (NACE), Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International (HSMAI), and Hospitality Financial Technology Professionals (HFTP). The holiday celebration welcomed over 325 attendees on its inaugural run. We had a terrific showing and it was all held at Hangar 8 in Santa Monica.

Here's the entrance to the event and the pre-opening room shot...
Here's the photo taken to commemorate all of the board leadership from the 5 different participating organizations! Pretty cool to have such great partnerships, huh?

We were fortunate to have Cirque USA provide two terrific performance artists...

I have to say, my very favorite part of the event was The Fry Girl. This is the coolest thing for those with a sweet tooth! She made fresh, hot, sweet, and gooey donuts on the spot!
A Sweet Design featured a table full of more goodies! Yummy, yummy cupcakes and cream puffs. Also, J&M Entertainment & Event Production brought in the Casino'tament... Very cool moves there!
Of course, being in the holiday spirit, we couldn't forget to bring in the spirits. I have to give mad props to both Chad Dickey (Pacific Coast Bar) and Cynda Hill (Salacious Cocktails) for taking care of the drinks. Craig (Craig's Crew) too for pulling it together!
Here's a shot of one of the evening's signature cocktails, the Orange-U-Lucky, presented by the Pacific Coast Bar & Beverage staff.
Besides a great time, we also had a canned food drive for The Midnight Mission and a toy drive for the Toys for Tots campaign. PLUS, we did all of this with a shade of green. We powered the whole event with a SMS BioDiesel Generator! We also recycled everything that we could - paper, cardboard, glass, plastic and aluminum.
