A while back, we (Simply Mumtaz) planned a really cool 40th Birthday Bash for a good friend's roommate. The birthday girl's motto was "I'm not married & never had my big day, so I'm gonna throw a kick-ass 40th birthday party!" The celebration was all about her best memories. We incorporated Ferris Bueller and classic MTV videos on plasmas; Pez in glass candy jars as centerpieces; signature "Elle" cocktails; an arts & craft area for her friends to bring photos and create a super cool scrap book with stickers, ribbon and glitter. It was tons of fun - good food, good people, good laughs and some good drinking!
