The Los Angeles chapter of the Association of Bridal Consultants (ABC) hosted a networking luncheon and fashion show last month at the lavish Greystone Mansion in Beverly Hills.
The fashion show was planned and produced by Simply Mumtaz Events in partnership with our friend Carol Saunders at Grand Events who was the Event Chairperson. I secured the models by holding my first “casting call” for models and conducted dress fittings with the showcase bridal salon. The Ivory Suite Bridal Boutique was generous enough to loan us some of their beautiful gowns for the show and was also at the event to dress the models. Gina, one of the salon owners was awesome and the show would not have been a success without her support.
Special thanks to Rustin Cerveny with RMC Photography and Sean Mason with Sean J. Mason Photography for providing me with these cool shots.

models striking a pose for the camera
The 2-part fashion show featured wedding gowns modeled by professional models followed by a headwear portion with hats modeled by ABC Steering Committee members. It was fun to see my fellow wedding planner friends and colleagues modeling over-the-top hats! The one-of-a-kind hats from Los Angeles designer Lyn Frances made everyone smile with amazement. The Lyn Frances Head Adornments featured Swarovski crystals, huge feathers, handmade silks and craftsmanship like nothing I have ever seen. Lyn not only provided her hats for the show, but she shared a bit about her custom designs including wedding veils and bridal party hats.
